get pet odor out of carpet Is your dog an eater of everything and an anywhere pooper and now you have to get pet odor out of carpet?

Is it hard to believe that your pets poop in the house and you have to get pet odor out of carpet?  Well, unfortunately, mine is but I still wouldn’t trade him for anything.  He is a Velcro dog, sticks to me and goes anywhere in the house with me.  He is pretty good about peeing and pooping outside but sometimes….
And just yesterday he must have reached up on the cabinets while we were gone.  He ate a whole bag of protein powder.  And then when we came home, I had to get pet odor out of the carpet. Again.
I don’t know where he found it but he dragged the bag under the dining room table and proceeded to bite open the bag and eat the powder.  We came home and found the powder but not until we had already fed the pets dinner.  Just what Hooch needed.  More food so more diarrhea and I had to get pet odor out of carpet.
Diarrhea is tough but getting rid of the smell is easy. To get up diarrhea and stop the smelling, it is just like urine.  Get up as much as possible of anything loose and not soaked into the carpet.
  • A sponge or poop bag – Mutt Mitts  are really good, to pick up all the excess and throw it out or flush it in the toilet or a plastic bag from the grocery store acting like a glove is just as good.
  • Add a little water to the area
  • Suck up the dirty water with a wet/dry vacuum.
  • Continue this process until all the dark areas from the diarrhea are gone.
Here is a little known tip that carpet shampoo people don’t want you to know.  If you pour water on the stains on your carpet and use a wet/dry vac to pick it up, the stain will all come out.  No stain will be left.  Honest.  Just water.  I didn’t believe it the first time I saw it either.  But we were able to get pet odor out of carpet with this method and the stain was gone too!
We had stain on our carpet that had been there for a few years.  We did what I just told you to do, poured water on the stain, let it set for about one minute, and suck it back up.  The stain was gone It was amazing.  See we learn half our tricks from people just like you.  And  BONUS:  We get pet odor out of carpet at the same time.

Get Pet Urine Out of Carpet and Your Carpet Smells Awesome!

A Rainbow vacuum door to door sales person did this trick on our own rug.  I was amazed.  It works just as good with a wet/dry vac – no need to spend all that money.  Water will take the stain out.
But for the smell, add OdorXit Concentrate to the water solution when you pour it on the carpet.  That will still let the stain be removed with the shop vac and get rid of the odor at the same time.
Jennie Dorocak, Cuyahoga County, Ohio: “I have an issue with my dog, who was a rescue dog about eight years old. He did his business on carpeting and cement, and he goes downstairs and does it on the basement floor. I’ve been using OdorXit, and I like it a lot. I bought some more Concentrate and keep it in the basement.
“[OdorXit] does help me. The first time I bought the small one, and then I bought the 16 oz. Concentrate.  I won’t be with it.”*
*DISCLAIMER: The results described here aren’t typical and will vary based on a variety of factors.
You never want your animals to have diarrhea on your carpet but when it happens, you should feel confident knowing that OdorXit Concentrate will easily get pet odor out of carpet, hardwood, concrete, even clothing.

The recent storms that have ravaged multiple parts of the US have caused unprecedented damage. If you or your loved ones were affected by any of these storms, our thoughts and best wishes go out to you. Because these storms were so large in scale, people have experienced everything from moderate to complete damage.

Since getting rid of bad odors is our area of expertise, we want to help anyone who lost power for an extended period of time during one of these storms but didn't face complete damage to their home and belongings. Even if you're dealing with a refrigerator that smells incredibly bad due to it being fully defrosted and having items like frozen food decompose for days or even weeks, we want to go over how you can fully restore your appliance to its former condition.

5 Steps to Saving Your Refrigerator After Losing Electricity

The first step is to remove all of the spoiled food. This can be a truly nasty and smelly experience, which is why you'll want to wear a protective mask and gloves as you do it. Once your refrigerator is clean, take it outside and spray it out with a garden hose. If you have a truck or access to one, consider taking your appliance to a car wash and use the high-powered equipment to spray it out.

The next step is to spray one ounce of OdorXit Concentrate mixed with 30 ounces of water everywhere the refrigerator smells. That means spraying the insulation behind the doors,

under and around the door gaskets, the inside, behind the drawers and every little opening where the defrosted food might have dripped. Once the OdorXit Concentrate solution comes in contact with the rotten food smells, it will remove them from your refrigerator completely and safely.

The second to last step is to let the refrigerator dry outside then bring it back in the house. Don't panic if it still smells a little. It just means there is still at least one spot that hasn't been treated yet. You'll be able to knock it out by continuing to sniff and spraying wherever you detect even a slight odor.

The final step is to remember to be a good neighbor! Spray a few shots of the OdorXit Concentrate solution in the drain at the car wash or wherever you ended up treating your appliance. Anyone who comes by after you will be very glad you did.

By following the process above, it's possible to save even the worst smelling refrigerator, which in turns means saving hundreds of dollars by not needing to buy a replacement. So if you know anyone who's currently trying to restore belongings like their refrigerator, feel free to share this post with them by email or on Facebook.

While spring cleaning is something that most homeowners think about and many take part in, it’s easier for people like college students who are living in dorms to overlook. But just because spring cleaning may not be as common throughout college dorms doesn’t mean you should skip it.
